Live Broadcast from the Metropolitan Opera

Join the Walworth County Arts Council in a new venture — a tour
by carpool to Tinseltown Theater in Kenosha to enjoy a live
broadcast of the Metropolitan Opera’s performance of Verdi’s
“Nabucco” starring Placido Domingo as Nabucco with legendary
conductor, James Levine at the podium.

We will depart from parking lot in front of Staples at Delavan
Crossings Shopping Center at 10:00 a.m. We will eat an early
lunch at the IHOP restaurant next to Tinseltown before attending
the opera.

Admission is $23 per person or $21 for those 62 and older. No
money will be collected in advance. Individuals will pay for their
own ticket at Tinseltown Theater and order off the menu at IHOP.

We are also looking for drivers so let Galin Berrier know if you are
able to drive.

If weather is inclement on January 7, our alternate opera will be
Gounod’s “Romeo and Juliette” on January 21, 2017.
